About our company
Our Story
Arrowsmith RNs was created in 2021 to address the needs of transplant centers wanting to move donor call management to a third party. Becky and Tracey have worked together in transplant for many years, having worked for a donor call management company where coordinators were managing multiple transplant centers at once. The new allocation system and the increase in the number of donors has triggered a need for a more personalized and full-service approach. Arrowsmith RNs was formed with the intent of replacing your donor call nurses with full-time RNs to fill that need.
Our Mission & Vision
To act as a trusted partner with your transplant center, working directly with your surgeons and in-house staff to facilitate life-saving organ transplants.
Our Team

She now lives at Lake Oconee, GA with her husband of 28 years and her two golden retrievers, Nola and Georgia. Tracey’s nursing career spans over 28 years, including maternal-child nursing, pediatrics, and organ transplant. She completed her BSN in 1994 from Southeastern LA University and post graduate studies in Nurse-Midwifery in 2001 from Frontier Nursing University. Organ transplant has been her focus and passion since 2007, starting her transplant career at Tulane Hospital in New Orleans. She is an adoptive single parent, which she considers life’s greatest gift yet hardest task. Now that her daughter is grown, Tracey spends her free time hiking, gardening, and mushroom hunting in her home state of Missouri. She is also an art enthusiast.
Karina Tweed, RN, BSN
COORDINATOR
Karina’s nursing career started in ICU where she was introduced to organ donation and caring for the donor’s during the allocation period. Karina quickly fell in love with transplant and spent 3 years caring for donors and their families at her local OPO. Karina then made the decision to switch to the recipient side of transplant and has gained a large overview of transplant from the donor and the recipient side. This knowledge helps navigate the many challenges faced during accepting an organ and getting the recipient to the OR. Karina completed her ADN in 2011 and received her BSN in 2018 from Purdue. Karina lives in Illinois and enjoys reading fantasy novels, helping coach softball for her daughter, and spending time with family.
